Hey everyone, the Local just entered a contest via GOOD Maker (http://goodart.maker.good.is/projects/FlintLocal432) for $5,000 which we could potentially use to improve our space.
We have plans to add sound-dampening materials around the venue to help cut down on extra noise, thus making it easier for bands to hear themselves on stage and for you as the audience to hear their performance. We have plans to add sound-dampening materials around the venue to help cut down on extra noise, thus making it easier for bands to hear themselves on stage and for you as the audience to hear their performance. n bulbs are extremely inefficient, generate a lot of heat, and are costly for us to use on an extended basis. With LED lighting it would greatly reduce our carbon-footprint and reduce our monthly operating expenses.
