Tonight was not only amazing, but it was a historical night for The Swellers. After 10 years as a band, they got to play where it all started. They played 21 songs with every current and previous member of the band. Check out the set list in the picture above!
The final song was Tunnel Vision and a ton of people got on stage at The Swellers request! Since Nick’s pedals and stuff got trampled on, and the crowd was chanting for “one more song!” he said he’d play some acoustic songs outside!
I will post some videos later of the acoustic songs, if my singing isn’t too loud that is… Nick played stars, dirt, feet first, and he played the song he recently covered from No Use For A Name in honor of Tony Sly!!
It was so awesome for him to play more songs for us right out on the sidewalk. I can’t describe how…how, monumental this night was for the band. They got to relive their past, reunite with old friends, and play in a place that gave them the opportunity to grow in the first place.
This show was the icing on the cake for proving the doubters wrong. Selling out a show with no issue at all, and having the crowd go ballistic at every single song. There was so much energy, and The Swellers were all smiles just as the much as we were.
It was a perfect night, and I’m glad that myself, and anyone and everyone who is a part of this blog in some way, stumbled upon The band that has changed our lives, The
